After lifting the Premier League trophy with Liverpool, Caoimhin Kelleher has hinted that his time at Anfield may be nearing its end.
Caoimhin Kelleher has already left an impression in every Liverpool fans heart already.
Known for his composed presence, sharp reflexes, and confident ball-handling, Kelleher has often stepped up in crucial moments whenever the team needs him the most, especially in domestic cup matches.
This includes 25 matches in the Premier League, 9 in the FA Cup, and 19 in the EFL Cup.
Additionally, he has featured 14 times in European competitions.
At 26, with experience and composure beyond his years, Kelleher is now at a stage where regular game time feels like the natural next step in his career.

In his interview with Optus Sport following Liverpool’s Premier League title celebration on May 25, 2025, Caoimhin Kelleher discussed his future at the club.
He said, “I think I’ve said it before as well that I feel like I’m good enough to be a number one.
I feel like I’m good enough to play week in, week out – and that’s what I’m looking to do.”
He further added: “This season I was lucky enough to play a lot of games, but it’s definitely something I’m looking at.”
These comments indicate Kelleher’s intent to play regular first-team football as the No.1 role elsewhere.
Despite his undeniable talent, Kelleher’s path to becoming Liverpool’s first-choice goalkeeper is not possible in the presence of Alisson Becker and the incoming new signing Giorgi Mamardashvili.
Meanwhile, Alisson is widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in world football, still performing at the highest level.
